Lance Armer

Lance Armer, NMLS #210927, is the founder and owner of Santa Fe Mortgage Company.  In the past five years alone, Armer has closed more than $65,000,000 in mortgage loans for 200+ clients.  He has been ranked as one of the Top-20 Purchase Loan Officer in New Mexico in four of the last five years.  

Since moving to New Mexico in 1987 Armer has been actively involved in the New Mexico Community serving on the Boards of Directors of the Santa Fe Advertising Club (President 1991), The Food Depot – regional food bank (President, 2001) Santa Fe Pro Musica Orchestra, City of Santa Fe Economic Development sub-committee, Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta (Treasurer 1994-1998), and for more than 20 years on The Tamarind Institute National Advisory Board– University of NM School of Fine Arts.

Lance is a native of Kansas City where he attended public schools and attended the University of Kansas where he graduated in 1979 with a degree in Journalism/Advertising.  He went on to build two radio stations from the ground up, KLFQ outside Hutchinson, KS in 1983 and KBOM licensed to Los Alamos, NM in 1987. In 1993, when majority ownership at KBOM was sold, Armer transitioned from broadcasting management to mortgage lending. After 30 years of mortgage lending, Lance still loves helping people buy their homes, catching up with past clients, getting referrals and helping the next client buy their home.
